How to use

How it works
Livastat-EZ Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Pitavastatin and Ezetimibe. Pitavastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while raising "good" cholesterol (HDL) levels. Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor which prevents absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, they provide better reduction of cholesterol in your body.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Livastat-EZ Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Not Safe: Livastat-EZ Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Livastat-EZ Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
SAFE - Livastat-EZ Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Livastat-EZ Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Livastat-EZ Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Livastat-EZ Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
