How it works
Pitezo Plus 2mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Pitavastatin and Ezetimibe. Pitavastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while raising "good" cholesterol (HDL) levels. Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor which prevents absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, they provide better reduction of cholesterol in your body.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Pitezo Plus 2mg/10mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Not Safe: Pitezo Plus 2mg/10mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Pitezo Plus 2mg/10mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
SAFE - Pitezo Plus 2mg/10mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Pitezo Plus 2mg/10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pitezo Plus 2mg/10mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
