In Treatment of Bacterial & parasitic infections Ofnida Syrup is an antibiotic medicine given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial and protozoal infections. These infections may include tooth abscess, gum infection, pneumonia, diarrhea, dysentery, burning sensation while passing urine, and genital tract infection. Ofnida Syrup inhibits the growth of infection-causing organisms by stopping them from multiplying. It is most likely that your child?s infection will start showing improvement within 3 to 5 days of the regular dosing. Make sure to complete the full course of treatment even if your child feels better. How it works
Ofnida Syrup is an antibiotic consisting of ofloxacin and tinidazole as its active ingredients. Both these ingredients tamper the bacteria?s DNA. What if I forget to take it?

Ofnida Syrup may interact with other medications. Inform your doctor about any other medicines your child is taking before starting Ofnida Syrup, and check with them before administering any additional medications.
Ofnida Syrup can interfere with cough and cold medicines and may cause adverse effects when combined with alcohol-containing products. Consult a doctor before giving any additional medications with Ofnida Syrup.
Antibiotics generally do not affect vaccines, but children should not be vaccinated until they recover from their illness. Once your child feels better, they can receive the vaccine.

While an extra dose of Ofnida Syrup may not harm your child, avoid overdosing. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately. Symptoms like seizures, tremors, severe headache, sudden weakness, blood cell abnormalities, and irregular heartbeat require urgent medical attention.
