HP Kit reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. It also contains antibiotics that prevent and treat any infection in the stomach or intestines. This helps you get relief from the symptoms more effectively. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

HP Kit is a combination of three medicines: Omeprazole, Tinidazole and Amoxicillin, which treats stomach/intestinal ulcers due to bacterial infections. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and treats acid-related indigestion and ulcers. Tinidazole is an antibiotic which kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Amoxicillin is also an antibiotic which works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering that is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking HP Kit , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: HP Kit may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: HP Kit is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: HP Kit may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. HP Kit can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
Caution Advised: HP Kit should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of HP Kit may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: HP Kit is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of HP Kit may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of HP Kit is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
