It is effective in relieving pain caused by headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache, sore throat, period (menstrual) pains, arthritis, and muscle aches. This medicine is very widely used and very rarely causes side effects if taken at the right dosage. To obtain the maximum benefit, follow the prescribed instructions precisely. Refrain from surpassing the prescribed dosage or duration, as it could potentially endanger your health. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. In Treatment of Fever Axicold NL Tablet is also used to reduce a high temperature (fever). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever. It may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor.

Driving

Not Safe: Axicold NL Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Axicold NL Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Axicold NL Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Axicold NL Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

Not Safe: Axicold NL Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Axicold NL Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Axicold NL Tablet is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold. Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
