In Treatment of Bacterial infections Aviflox ST 200mg/15mg Tablet used to treat certain bacterial infections such as pneumonia (a lung infection), bronchitis (infection of the tubes leading to the lungs), gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease), and infections of the ears, throat, stomach, urinary tract, and prostate (a male reproductive gland). It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria causing infection. It is advisable to continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and difficult to treat.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aviflox ST 200mg/15mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Aviflox ST 200mg/15mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ofloxacin and Serratiopeptidase. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing thereby killing the bacteria. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which works by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation, and promotes healing.
Consult your Doctor: Please consult your doctor regarding the safety of consuming alcohol with Aviflox ST 200mg/15mg Tablet . Experts have not found evidence of alcohol impairing the effectiveness of the medicine.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Aviflox ST 200mg/15mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Not Safe: Aviflox ST 200mg/15mg Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
