It works by killing the bacteria causing infections in the body. Make sure to complete the full course of treatment. How it works
Zydotum 1000 mg/500 mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Ceftazidime and Sulbactam. Ceftazidime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftazidime against bacteria.

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Zydotum 1000 mg/500 mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
