Ultipurinol 300 Tablet is a prescription medicine classified as a Xanthine Oxidase Inhibitor. Uric acid is a waste product normally produced by the body during the breakdown of purines (substances found in certain foods and body tissues). When the body produces too much uric acid or the kidneys cannot remove it efficiently, it builds up in the blood, a condition known as hyperuricemia. If you are taking a single daily dose, try to take it at the same time each day.
