How to use

How it works
Tizpa D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Tizanidine, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Tizpa D Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Tizpa D Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Tizpa D Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Not Safe: Tizpa D Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Tizpa D Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Tizpa D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tizpa D Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
Caution Advised: Tizpa D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tizpa D Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Tizpa D Tablet is not advised in patients with severe liver disease. Liver function tests are recommended before the start of treatment and then on a regular basis as advised.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Tizpa D Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
