How Suracid Tablet works Suracid 1000mg Tablet forms a coating over the ulcer or any other raw surface. This creates a physical barrier that protects the ulcer/raw surface from the gastric acid or any other injury, allowing it to heal.
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Suracid 1000mg Tablet .
Suracid 1000mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Suracid 1000mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Suracid 1000mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Suracid 1000mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Suracid 1000mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
There is limited information available on the use of Suracid 1000mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Suracid 1000mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
