You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Phenotil Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diphenoxylate and Atropine, which treats diarrhea. In higher doses, diphenoxylate may cause euphoria (elevation of mood) and physical dependence. To prevent its abuse, atropine is added in small quantities.

If a dose of Phenotil Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
