L Cot Kit is a combination medicine used in the treatment of peptic ulcer disease by relieving the symptoms such as heartburn, indigestion, stomach pain, and irritation. It works by killing the ulcer-causing bacteria H. pylori. L Cot Kit is taken without food, following the dosage and duration recommended by your doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you discontinue treatment prematurely, there is a risk of symptom recurrence and worsening of your condition. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, tiredness, headache, dryness in mouth, and metallic taste. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. How it works

L Cot Kit is a combination of three medicines: Tinidazole, Omeprazole and Clarithromycin. Tinidazole is an antibiotic which kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Clarithromycin is also an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and prevents acid-related indigestion and ulcers.
