How to use
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Klocalm-Plus Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
How it works
Klocalm-Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Clonazepam and Propranolol. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in brain. Propranolol is a beta blocker which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers on the heart and blood vessels. This reduces heart rate, blood pressure, and strain on the heart.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Klocalm-Plus Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Klocalm-Plus Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Klocalm-Plus Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Klocalm-Plus Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Klocalm-Plus Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Klocalm-Plus Tablet can cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Caution Advised: Klocalm-Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Klocalm-Plus Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Klocalm-Plus Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
