How it works
How Xenolol Fort Tablet works Xenolol Fort Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Clonazepam and Propranolol. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in brain. Propranolol is a beta blocker which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers on the heart and blood vessels. This reduces heart rate, blood pressure, and strain on the heart.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Xenolol Fort Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Xenolol Fort Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
