Imaze Eye Drop is a combination of nine medicines: Naphazoline, Methylcellulose, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Boric Acid, Sodium Chloride, Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate, Menthol and Camphor. Naphazoline is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Methylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Boric acid and zinc sulphate monohydrate are antiseptics which treat bacterial infection in the eyes and relieve irritation. Sodium chloride is a purified salt solution which works by drawing out water from swollen cornea. Menthol and camphor provide a cooling effect.

If you forget a dose of Imaze Eye Drop , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.

Imaze Eye Drop provides soothing relief from eye irritation due to allergy. It should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day. In case the dropper tip gets contaminated, squeeze out two or three drops straightaway onto some tissue and rinse the tip with saltwater. After applying Imaze Eye Drop, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye. Avoid wearing contact lenses until your doctor advises you that it is suitable for you to wear your lenses again.
