In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure-lowering medicines: Moxonidine and amlodipine. It works by relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

Not Safe: Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Caution Advised: Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
Caution Advised: Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet is started at a lower dose in patients with liver disease and further increased slowly with careful monitoring.
If a dose of Hapymox AM 0.2mg/5mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
