Gutrex Plus Capsule relaxes the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine) and relieves these symptoms effectively. Usually, it is used along with other medicines for management of your condition. Continue taking it for as long as the doctor may advise you to. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it. Take a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Gutrex Plus Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Pantoprazole, Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium which treat irritable bowel syndrome. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which in turn relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Clidinium is an anticholinergic medication. It works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Gutrex Plus Capsule as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Gutrex Plus Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Gutrex Plus Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Not Safe: Gutrex Plus Capsule may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Gutrex Plus Capsule may make you feel drowsy or affect your concentration and this may affect your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Gutrex Plus Capsule should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Gutrex Plus Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Gutrex Plus Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Gutrex Plus Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Gutrex Plus Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
