You have been prescribed Benscli Gel for the treatment of acne. It is recommended that you use a mild soap and lukewarm water to wash with, as very hot or cold water may worsen acne. Do not wash more than you normally do. Apply a thin layer on the affected area. It may cause minor burning, stinging, or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas. During your treatment, your doctor may ask you to use another (non-antibiotic) skin preparation from time to time. It is important that you follow your doctor's advice, as this is to help prevent your acne from becoming resistant to treatment. You may have to use it for a long time before your acne starts to improve. Be patient and keep using it every day. If, however, your skin has not improved even after completing the prescribed time, consult your doctor.
