Vertigo

In Vertigo Vertigo means a spinning sensation or dizziness that is triggered due to frequent movement. It can happen due to many reasons but it may also occur without any underlying disease. Zipvert-B6 Tablet helps treat this sensation effectively. It also contains nutritional supplements that prevent nausea and also improve nerve conduction. If you feel dizzy while getting up from the bed, sit for a while and then rise slowly to avoid having an accidental fall. It will be more effective if you take this medicine regularly as prescribed so try not to miss doses. It may take a couple of weeks before you notice any improvements but keep taking it, even if you do feel better, until your doctor advises it is safe to stop.

Zipvert-B6 Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cinnarizine, Dimenhydrinate and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine). Cinnarizine is calcium channel antagonist which works by preventing constriction of the blood vessels of the inner ear. This improves the micro-circulation of the ear. Dimenhydrinate is an antihistamine (anti-allergic). It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) that is responsible for motion sickness. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is a nutritional supplement that possesses anti-nausea properties and helps in proper functioning of nerves.

Pregnancy

Driving

Not Safe: Zipvert-B6 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Liver

If a dose of Zipvert-B6 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Zipvert-B6 Tablet to relieve vertigo (dizziness) and nausea associated with it. It can make you feel dizzy, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down for a long time. Take it at the same time each day to maintain a steady amount of the medicine in your body. Do not take it for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor. Zipvert-B6 Tablet can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them.
