How to use

How it works
Vagilyte Plus Vaginal Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Clindamycin, Metronidazole, and Clotrimazole, which treats vaginal infections. Clindamycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Metronidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their protective covering.

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Vagilyte Plus Vaginal Capsule is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Caution Advised: Vagilyte Plus Vaginal Capsule should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. If a single dose of Vagilyte Plus Vaginal Capsule is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Vagilyte Plus Vaginal Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
