It helps relieve symptoms such as swelling, pain, itching, and other allergic-type reactions. If you are not sure why you are being given this medicine, ask your doctor.It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. Taking this medicine enables you to live your life more freely without worrying so much about things that set off your symptoms. Because this medicine weakens your immune system, you should avoid being near people who are ill or have infections.In Treatment of Nausea Tenergan 25mg Injection blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick. It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused due to some medicines or any other medical treatment. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for but always take this medicine as it is prescribed.In Treatment of Allergic conditions

How Tenergan Injection works Tenergan 25mg Injection is an antiallergic medication. When your body is exposed to an allergen (pollen, animal dander, house dust etc.), it produces a chemical called histamine. This causes watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, sneezing, skin rashes, itching etc. Tenergan 25mg Injection works by blocking the action of histamine, thereby relieving these symptoms. It also works directly on several areas of the brain to prevent nausea/vomiting and help you feel more relaxed.
Not Safe: Consuming alcohol with Tenergan 25mg Injection may lead to excessive drowsiness.
Tenergan 25mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Tenergan 25mg Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.For prolonged use and repeated doses of Tenergan 25mg Injection, observe the baby for excessive sleepiness.
Tenergan 25mg Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Tenergan 25mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tenergan 25mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.However, caution is advised in patients with severe kidney disease as it may cause excessive sleepiness in them.
Tenergan 25mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tenergan 25mg Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Tenergan 25mg Injection is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
