In High blood pressure with high cholesterol Tellzy-RS Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. It also effectively reduces the high cholesterol levels in your body. Lowering the amount of cholesterol reduces the chances of heart diseases and managing the blood pressure reduces the risk of having a stroke, heart attack or kidney problems in future. This helps you remain healthier for longer. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. Take it regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine. Keep taking it even if you feel well.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Tellzy-RS Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin which treat high blood pressure and cholesterol. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-Co A-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL).

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Tellzy-RS Tablet 15 Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Not Safe: Tellzy-RS Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Tellzy-RS Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Tellzy-RS Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Tellzy-RS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tellzy-RS Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Tellzy-RS Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

Caution Advised: Tellzy-RS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tellzy-RS Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Tellzy-RS Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Tellzy-RS Tablet 15 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Tellzy-RS Tablet treats high blood pressure that is also associated with high cholesterol levels. Together they lower your risk of heart attack and stroke. Take it in addition to regular exercise and low-fat diet. It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. It may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli. Inform your doctor if you experience muscle symptoms (pain or weakness), particularly if you have fever, a sick feeling or dark urine. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor.
