How to use Olidax Trio Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Olidax Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
How Olidax Trio Tablet works Olidax Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine and Hydrochlorothiazide. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Olidax Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Olidax Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Olidax Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Olidax Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Olidax Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Olidax Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
