In Treatment of Dysentery Dysentery or amoebic dysentery is a parasitic infection of the intestines that occurs mostly due to intake of contaminated food or water. The symptoms include loose stools (diarrhea), stomach cramps and stomach pain. Lexinor M Syrup helps to treat this infection by killing the infection causing parasites. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

How it works
Lexinor M Syrup is a combination of two antibiotics: Metronidazole and Norfloxacin. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Norfloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Lexinor M Syrup , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Lexinor M Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Not Safe: Lexinor M Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Lexinor M Syrup may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.

What if I forget to take it?
