It also gives a soothing effect and keeps the eyes moist. This reduces dryness and discomfort. You can use Lacricool Eye Drop 2-3 times a day or as prescribed by the doctor. If you see no improvement even after a week, consult your doctor. Apart from using eye drops, it is advisable to wash your eyes with luke warm water to reduce discomfort.

Lacricool Eye Drop is a combination of five medicines: Camphor, Menthol, Phenylephrine, Carboxymethylcellulose and Naphazoline which treat allergic eye disease. Camphor and Menthol provide a cooling effect to the eye. Phenylephrine and Naphazoline are decongestants which work by narrowing blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Carboxymethylcellulose is a lubricating medicine similar to natural tears. It provides relief of burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.

If you forget a dose of Lacricool Eye Drop , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.

Lacricool Eye Drop provides soothing relief from eye irritation due to allergy. It should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day. Wash your hands first before applying Lacricool Eye Drop. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye. If you normally wear contact lenses, please wear your spectacles instead until your doctor advises you that it is suitable for you to wear your lenses again.
