It works by producing antibodies against foreign substances thereby fighting against infection. It is also used to increase the blood count (platelets) in persons with a certain blood disorder (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura-ITP). This helps stop bleeding and promote the formation of blood clots.

How Immunorel Injection works Immune globulin belongs to class of agents called immunostimulants. It works by restoring abnormally low immunoglobulin G levels to the normal range to fight against infectious agents.
