How it works
IMEDOL TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Tramadol, which relieves severe pain. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tramadol is an opioid which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with IMEDOL TABLET as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: IMEDOL TABLET is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
