Hypertension (high blood pressure)

In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Perindopril and losartan which lower blood pressure effectively. Perindopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet usually does not affect alertness but dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients. This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Caution should be advised in patients with renal impairment.

Liver

Caution Advised: Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

If a dose of Adpace 4 mg/50 mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
