In Treatment of Pain due to muscle spasm Accetiz 100 mg/2 mg Tablet is a combination medicine that contains a painkiller as well as a muscle relaxant. It is used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling in conditions that affect muscles. Also, it effectively relieves muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving muscle movement. It works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain. Take it as prescribed by the doctor to get the most benefit. Do not take more or for a longer duration than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Accetiz 100 mg/2 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Accetiz 100 mg/2 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Tizanidine, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Accetiz 100 mg/2 mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Not Safe: Accetiz 100 mg/2 mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Accetiz 100 mg/2 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Accetiz 100 mg/2 mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Accetiz 100 mg/2 mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
