How to use
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telset-Trio Tablet is to be taken with food.
How it works
Telset-Trio Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Telmisartan, Amlodipine and Chlorthalidone. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Telset-Trio Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Telset-Trio Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Telset-Trio Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Telset-Trio Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Telset-Trio Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Caution Advised: Telset-Trio Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Telset-Trio Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Telset-Trio Tablet is not recommended in these patients.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Telset-Trio Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
