This helps you remain healthier for longer. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. Take it regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine. Keep taking it even if you feel well.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Telrose Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin which treat high blood pressure and cholesterol. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-Co A-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL).
Alcohol
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Telrose Tablet 10 Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Pregnancy
Not Safe: Telrose Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Breast feeding
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Telrose Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Driving
Not Safe: Telrose Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
Caution Advised: Telrose Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Telrose Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Telrose Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
Caution Advised: Telrose Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Telrose Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Telrose Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
If a dose of Telrose Tablet 10 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
