In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. It also eliminates excess water from the body and increases urine output. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Perindopril and indapamide which lower blood pressure effectively. Perindopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently. Indapamide is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet usually does not affect alertness but dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients. This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Caution should be advised in patients with renal impairment.

Liver

Caution Advised: Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet for the treatment of high blood pressure. It also lowers your risk of stroke and heart attack. Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. Inform you doctor about any cough, or throat irritation that doesn't go away. Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth. Your doctor may regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function and the levels of salts such as potassium in your blood while you are taking this medicine. Do not take Perindosyl Plus 4mg/1.25mg Tablet if you�re pregnant or planning pregnancy. It can cause birth defects or be fatal to your unborn baby.
