Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor as it has a high potential of habit-forming. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn't be stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may cause nausea and anxiety. In Conscious sedation during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures Midacip Nasal Spray may be used before medical procedures and surgery to cause drowsiness and relieve anxiety. This helps to carry out surgical procedures or diagnostic procedures without causing pain or discomfort to the patient.

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head upright. Repeat the same process for the other nostrils.
Midacip Nasal Spray is a benzodiazepine (BZD). It is rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream through the inner lining of the nose. Once absorbed, it works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger that suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. This helps the patient to recover from a seizure faster.
Pregnancy
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Midacip Nasal Spray is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Breast feeding
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Midacip Nasal Spray is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Midacip Nasal Spray should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. The withdrawal of Midacip Nasal Spray should be gradual.
If a dose of Midacip Nasal Spray is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
