In Bacterial infections : Favlin Injection is a versatile antibiotic medicine that works by stopping the growth of bacteria in your body. It is injected by a doctor or a nurse either into a vein or a muscle. This medicine is used to treat many different types of infections such as those of lungs (pneumonia), stomach, skin & soft tissues, bones & joints, blood, and heart.This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
How to use Favlin Injection Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.
How Favlin Injection works Favlin Injection is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.
Safe: No harmful side effects are associated with consuming alcohol alongside Favlin Injection
Favlin Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Favlin Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
It is not known whether Favlin Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
