It stops the growth of the bacteria causing the infection and clears the infection. It also helps treat as well as prevent diarrhea that may occur due to the use of this medicine or due to stomach/gut(intestine) infections.Take it for as long as prescribed by the doctor and avoid skipping doses. Doxiwin LB Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
How Doxiwin LB Tablet works Doxiwin LB Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Lactobacillus.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Doxiwin LB Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Doxiwin LB Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Doxiwin LB Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Doxiwin LB Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
There is limited information available on the use of Doxiwin LB Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
Doxiwin LB Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Doxiwin LB Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Doxiwin LB Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
