This can lead to bleeding, frequent diarrhea, bloating, flatulence, cramps and stomach pain. Coliwin R Capsule relaxes the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine) and relieves these symptoms effectively. It also relieves excessive acidity in your stomach which prevents heartburn and indigestion. Usually, it is used along with other medicines for management of your condition. Continue taking it for as long as the doctor may advise you to. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it. Take a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Coliwin R Capsule is a combination of four medicines: Chlordiazepoxide, Clidinium, Dicyclomine and Rabeprazole, which treats irritable bowel syndrome. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Clidinium and Dicyclomine are antispasmodic medicines which relax the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). They stop sudden muscle contractions (spasms) which in turn relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It reduces the amount of acid in the stomach which relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Coliwin R Capsule as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Coliwin R Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Coliwin R Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Coliwin R Capsule may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Coliwin R Capsule may make you feel drowsy or affect your concentration and this may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Coliwin R Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Coliwin R Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Coliwin R Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Coliwin R Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Coliwin R Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

If you are due to have an operation or any dental treatment, please tell the doctor carrying out the treatment that you are taking Coliwin R Capsule. This is because it increases the effects of some anesthetics. Inform your doctor if you have an enlarged prostate gland, glaucoma, or trouble passing urine. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are 65 or older, use Coliwin R Capsule with care. You could have more side effects. If you develop any new symptoms, or if your symptoms get worse, make an appointment to see your doctor for further advice.
