How Glizid-M Tablet XR works Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Gliclazide and Metformin.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR as it is deemed unsafe.
Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is too low or too high. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If a dose of Glizid M 60mg/1000mg Tablet XR is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
