Cepizon-T 2.25G Injection can be used to treat many different bacterial infections. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

How it works
Cepizon-T 2.25G Injection is a combination of two medicines: Cefepime and Tazobactum. Cefepime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate cefepime. Addition of Tazobactum reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefepime against bacteria.
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Cepizon-T 2.25G Injection .
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Cepizon-T 2.25G Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Cepizon-T 2.25G Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Not Safe: Cepizon-T 2.25G Injection may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Caution Advised: Cepizon-T 2.25G Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cepizon-T 2.25G Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Cepizon-T 2.25G Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cepizon-T 2.25G Injection may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
