In Treatment of Bacterial infections Wymox 250mg Injection is a versatile antibiotic medicine which can be used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria. These include infections of the blood, brain, lungs, bones, joints, urinary tract, stomach and intestines. It can also be used to treat gum ulcers and other dental infections (abscesses), leg ulcers and pressure sores. It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria causing the infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant. This medicine is generally safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding, but you should ask your doctor.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Wymox 250mg Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
Safe: No harmful side effects are associated with consuming alcohol alongside Wymox 250mg Injection
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Wymox 250mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Wymox 250mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Not Safe: Wymox 250mg Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Wymox 250mg Injection can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
Caution Advised: Wymox 250mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Wymox 250mg Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Wymox 250mg Injection is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Wymox 250mg Injection is recommended. However, regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended during prolonged therapy.
