Stalia A 40 mg/20 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used to treat high blood pressure with high cholesterol levels. Lowering the blood pressure helps in preventing future heart attack and stroke. Stalia A 40 mg/20 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. How it works

Stalia A 40 mg/20 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Telmisartan and Atorvastatin which treat high blood pressure and cholesterol. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-Co A-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL).
