It is normally only given by injection in a hospital when a fast response is needed or when tablets have not worked or cannot be given. This medicine thus prevents serious health problems that can sometimes be fatal and reduces your risk of death.

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Sotalar 40 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Not Safe: Sotalar 40 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Sotalar 40 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sotalar 40 Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Sotalar 40 Tablet is not recommended in patients with serious kidney disease.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Sotalar 40 Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Sotalar 40 Tablet is recommended.
If a dose of Sotalar 40 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
