In Nausea Palozac 0.50 Capsule blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick. It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused by cancer chemotherapy and radiation treatment (in adults and children). It is usually taken both before and after chemotherapy or radiation. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably from these treatments. It is also effective at preventing nausea and vomiting after an operation (in adults only). The dose will depend on what you are being treated for but always take this medicine as it is prescribed.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Palozac 0.50 Capsule can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Palozac 0.50 Capsule is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.
Consult your Doctor: Please consult your doctor regarding the safety of consuming alcohol with Palozac 0.50 Capsule . Experts have not found evidence of alcohol impairing the effectiveness of the medicine.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Palozac 0.50 Capsule is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Palozac 0.50 Capsule is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Palozac 0.50 Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

If a dose of Palozac 0.50 Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
