Cough

In Cough P-Rex Syrup gives relief from cough by loosening thick mucus and making it easier to cough it out. It also makes it easier for air to move in and out of your airways. This reduces the frequency of coughing and makes you feel better. P-Rex Syrup also relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. Along with medications, drink enough lukewarm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. Shake well before use. P-Rex Syrup can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.

P-Rex Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Diphenhydramine, ammonium chloride, terpin hydrate and sodium citrate which relieve cough. Diphenhydramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ammonium chloride and terpin hydrate are expectorants which decrease the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and help in its removal from the airways. Sodium citrate is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with P-Rex Syrup as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Not Safe: P-Rex Syrup is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Information regarding the use of P-Rex Syrup during breastfeeding is not available. Doctor consultation is advised.

Driving

Not Safe: P-Rex Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Not Safe: P-Rex Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Seek medical advice from your doctor: There is limited information available on the use of P-Rex Syrup in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of P-Rex Syrup is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

P-Rex Syrup relieves cough that is accompanied with mucus. Drink extra fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. If you are diabetic, monitor your blood glucose regularly while taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease. Stop taking P-Rex Syrup and inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache.
