How to use Motinac Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Motinac 50mg/20mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Motinac Tablet works Motinac 50mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Famotidine which relieve abdominal pain. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by preventing the formation of chemicals responsible for fever, pain, and inflammation (redness and swelling). Famotidine is an H2 blocker (type of antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps to get relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Motinac 50mg/20mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Motinac 50mg/20mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Motinac 50mg/20mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

If a dose of Motinac 50mg/20mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
