How can I give Mex 100mg Tablet to my child?Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mex 100mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Mex Tablet works Worms enter your child�s body when your child eats or drinks something that�s infected with a worm or its eggs. Once inside the body, these worms get attached to the inner walls of the intestines and can even enter other body organs. Mex 100mg Tablet works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die, following which the medicine fosters the removal of these dead worms through stools. This helps treat your child�s infection.
Mex 100mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Mex 100mg Tablet is recommended.
Mex 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Mex 100mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Monitoring of liver function tests (LFT) and complete blood count (CBC) is recommended while your child is taking Mex 100mg Tablet.
Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
