Safe when prescribed by an expert: Metco 1000mg Tablet SR is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Caution Advised: Metco 1000mg Tablet SR should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Caution Advised: Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is too low or too high. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Metco 1000mg Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Metco 1000mg Tablet SR may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Metco 1000mg Tablet SR is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Metco 1000mg Tablet SR is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
