How to use Mefson Spas Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mefson Spas Tablet is to be taken with food.
How it works
How Mefson Spas Tablet works Mefson Spas Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Drotaverine and Nimesulide, which relieves abdominal pain. Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves spasms associated with smooth muscles. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Mefson Spas Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Mefson Spas Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
