How Lyumjev Solution for Injection works Lyumjev Kwikpen ( 3ml Each ) is fast-acting insulin which starts working within 10-20 minutes after injecting. It works similar to the insulin produced by the body. Insulin facilitates reuptake of glucose in muscle and fat cells and also blocks the release of glucose from the liver.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Lyumjev Kwikpen ( 3ml Each ) as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Lyumjev Kwikpen ( 3ml Each ) is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

Driving

Kidney

If a dose of Lyumjev Kwikpen ( 3ml Each ) is missed, there's a risk of elevated blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia). Monitor your blood sugar and adjust the timing of the next dose accordingly.

Store in a refrigerator (2 - 8�C). Do not freeze.
