Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Lipicor N Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Not Safe: Lipicor N Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Lipicor N Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

SAFE - Lipicor N Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Lipicor N Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lipicor N Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Lipicor N Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lipicor N Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Lipicor N Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Lipicor N Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Inform your doctor if you notice signs of liver problems such as stomach pains, unusually dark urine or yellowing of skin or eyes. If you are diabetic, monitor your blood sugar level regularly as Lipicor N Tablet may cause an increase in your blood sugar level. Lifestyle changes like a low-fat and salt diet, exercise, not smoking, and cutting down on the amount of alcohol you normally drink may help this medication work better.
