In Malaria Larimef Tablet is an antimalarial medicine and is used to treat malaria, a serious or life-threatening illness that is spread by a parasite that enters the human body by the bite of infected mosquitoes. It kills the infection-causing parasite and stops the further spread of the infection. Take it only as prescribed and refrain from taking any other medicines along with this medicine (unless advised by the doctor) as they may affect the absorption of this medicine. Do not use this medicine for treating any other condition without consulting your doctor.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Larimef Tablet is to be taken with food.
Larimef Tablet is an antiparasitic medication which treats malaria. It works by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading.
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Larimef Tablet .

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Not Safe: Larimef Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Larimef Tablet can cause dizziness, loss of balance and mental problems and this may affect your ability to drive.

Caution Advised: Larimef Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Larimef Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Larimef Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If a dose of Larimef Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
